During the first 25 minutes of the match Dortmund was the better team. They had plenty of chances but they couldn't score - Enke was pretty strong yesterday.
The rest of the first half Hannover dominated the game. Best chance for Hannover by Jan Rosenthal, who hit the inner side of the goalpost, from where the ball jumped directly in Weidenfeller's arms (by the way: what a lousy keeper...).
Second half: Hannover still the better team with good chances. 54th minute: Philip Degen attacked Sergio Pinto at the far left side of the penalty area. Huszti shot the penalty and scored.
Hannover continued to hold Dortmund under pressure and after a corner kick (there were 13 (!) for Hannover; ball possesion: 61% for Hannover) Christian Schulz scored with header (73th minute). Only six minutes later Florian Kringe wanted to center the ball from the left midfield - nobody could reach the ball; 'nobody' includes Enke in this case and the ball ended inside his goal.
In the last minutes of the match there were some more good chance, e.g. for Hanke, but no more scores.
btw: I'm just wondering if I used the right words... Is there a dictonary "English - German for football-fans"?

Half time was 0 -0.
I only saw highlights lateron and read some match reports, but that's what I think how it was:
The first 30 minutes Dortmund totally dominated but luckily did not score a goal. after 30 minutes Hanover got stronger and within seconds the flow of the game totally reserved. That's how it stayed after half-time, resulting into the first goal (penalty: Degen fouled Pinto on the corner of the penalty box to the goal line, quite unnecessairy for the Dortmund player. Hiszti scored the penalty without problems). The 2nd goald was after a corner kick from Bruggink, Rosenthal heads the ball against the cross-bar, the ball flies back and Schulz is faster than anyone from the Dortmund players and heads it into the goal.
Dortmund became stronger after the 2 - 0 and scored one lucky goal, but the victory was not really endangered after the 2 goals.

@Squig:
I agree, Dortmund was the better team during the first 25min, but I don't think they really were totally dominating.

As I said, I only watched the Sportschau and read the reports, so I don't know by what margin they were better. The weay I wrote it adds to the dramatic, though ;-)

Thanks Squig and Daniel. Great match reports. They are alway better when 96 win!
I had hoped to be in Berlin for the game next week but the price of the flights is madness. So, we have bought tickets for the Schalke match! My early Christmas present to myself
Hope to see you there.
