Coming across for the Rangers game in July and was wondering if large flags (6m x 3m) were allowed in the ground?

If so then can you tell me if there is a suitable area in the visiting fans section for it to be shown.

Flags are allowed, but there are a lot of regulations on flag poles. If you just want to put the flag on the fence there shouldn't be any problems.

What kind of flag are we talking about? Something like those?



If yes, Squig is right - the poles have to be 1,5 meters or smaller or you need a special authorisation for your flag, which is usually only given to fans of the home team (a normal regulation in the Bundesliga ).

I guess it would be best, if your Supporters Club or even better: your Supporters Liaison Manager (I hope, he is the guy I mean... ) talks to our Supporters Liaison Manager and they manage everything. If there are any problems in communication, don't hesitate to ask here again. I could check what we can arrange for you!

There are some major cultural difference between supporting your team in Germany and in the UK. Flags is one example, alcohol is another. In the UK fans are not allowed to watch the game whilst drinking alcohol. In Germany fans are not allowed to watch the game UNLESS they are drinking alcohol!
I cannot help thinking that the Germans have got it right while we are slowly strangling football in the UK.
