it is sort of that, and at the other hand only the real hardcore Soccer fans in the US care about German soccer... England they see sort of as part as their country so the whole mentality towards England and English soccer is different compared to germany...

I think it's simpler then that. Most of us just don't understand German. You have to be hardcore to try and follow a site you can't read. I can go to english premier league sites and follow from the US. Bundesliga website has no english translation. German clubs should look at clubs like Ajax. http://english.ajax.nl/. I can actually follow John O'Brian because there is an english version. Also, don't apologize about your english. I speak no German, so you are doing better then me. You are also better then the Google translation.

However, I think an english version of the bundesliga site should be something they could do. I understand that some clubs may be small, the leage should be able to do something like Ajax. I mean read the google translation of http://www.bundesliga.de and you'll see how hard it is to follow German soccer in the US. I mean there isn't even a bundesliga.com website at all. This forum is great start though.

The problem is that almost every important manager in german soccer is backwarded and doesn't see the signs of his time... They discussed to play earlier in the morning to broadcast the games in asian TV but they can't do a website in English
just poor

You are absolutely right. I guess we can only hope for a grassroots campaign. The more English-speaking people make their presence known, the better your chances are to get an English version of the sites. Write a mail to the respective sites and ask for it. I know, it's tedious but it might just pay off one day.

they are a small club with one Japanese player. but they cater to international fans of their players, who in turn purchase Fulham merchandise. It's a great concept. I'm very happy to see Hannover 96 making an effert with this english forum. http://www.fulhamfc.com

Sorry but this is typical for clubs in europe ...
I mean just a few clubs in Spain, Italy or Germany have "good" and up to date english sites !!!
Thats a huge Problem, but for those few people who are interested in an english version of Hannover 96, it just didn't make sense ...
Also there are boards like xtratime and so on, wheare you can make a thread about 96 !!!
