I'd like you to put your thoughts on the game in this thread.

If we win this, we'll be on a UEFA cup spot , if we don't it still looks very good in hannover (better than in Hamburg or Dortmund for example), but Lautern should be a win.

The team is on a roll, lots of momentum, playing at home against one of the weakest teams.

That spells VICTORY.

I can only hope the players don't realize that.

We cannot be overconfident. I've seen to many teams lose to an inferior opponent for that very reason. We need confidence, hard work and respect to win this one. But then we will win it!

Somehow I have got a good feeling - but just to be on the save side I'll be sitting in W16 again (like I did against Schalke). And I'll try to wear the same outfit... I am a little superstitious when it comes to these things.

What a surprise, an english thread concerning the next game. Unfornutately only germans participated in the discussion up to now.

Nevertheless, as I am really used to the english language since a few weeks I feel comfortable enough to join this discussion.

In point of fact I am quite sure that we will win today. I don't think that Kaiserslautern will make the turnaround with Kurt Jara as their coach.

Hopefully Lienen does not only think about sthrengthening the defense but also on finding a useful way to get the offense going. In my opinion the defense-oriented strategy is not practicable at home. If Lienen is able to understand that the visitors want to see an offensive-oriented team at home we will experience the most successful Bundesliga season of all times.

We'll get that win and outscore the "red devils" 2:1.

Hope is that a discussion in English will be joined by non-Germans at some point of time soon 'till then we can at least practice our English skills in here ;-)

Well, we won 3 to 1, goals by Tarnat, and Stajner (2), Amanatidis from Kaiserslautern scored 1st though.
my 2 cents on the win:
Bad for Mathis that the forwards start scoring now, good for us that hannover is better than S04 atm, Why should Dolo wanna join them?

4th spot in the table, which is damn great, 17 points and far far far away from relegation
but we'r not through yet, 1860 München looked good last season too, but now plays in 2nd Bundesliga...
