looking forward to this game... those in USA/Canada will get a great double header with Fulham/Bolton on before Hanover/wer.brem.

don't know if anyone saw Cherundolo's assist in the USA world cup qualifier last week- but it was a beauty... a wonderful pass right on the money!...

looking forward to seeing the new stadium for the first time & hopefully the ghosts of the first few games can be chased away & the team can pick up a win.

Excellent! Although even the hardcore Hannover fans don't really believe in a win for our team. Bremen is very strong and we haven't been lately. But in football, anything is possible, so we'll see. Everyone's money is on a decisive Bremen victory, though.



Hope he saved one of those for Saturday, we sure need it!



The stadium is a beauty and we haven't beaten Bremen at home for years, so the time might be right. Hopefully.

Fingers crossed then!! After all the away game in Bremen at the end of last season was okay. Bremen was top of the table and we drew. Who knows?! They played so bad last weekend things can only get better. And if madrat is watching the game on the other side of the world we can't go wrong, can we.

confidence can make a huge difference. seems the team has lost some of theirs over the winter break... exactly the reason i dislike long midseason breaks- you get on a roll- then a lengthy break stops your positive momentum. a tie on the road may not be a huge confidence booster- but hopefully it was a start... a bit of luck early & hopefully the team starts believing in themselves again.

yes- i'll be watching saturday... a great morning for football junkies.. 7am fulham vs bolton (english fa cup) , then hanover vs werder b. next...

was good to see hanover play-- even if the game didn't go the way i would have liked. bremen had some luck on the first goal- but it seemed like a good goal... then the next goal was a nice bit of skill by bremen & maybe less than great marking by the hanover defense. from there hanover seemed to do a nice job getting back into the game- & when it was 2-1 i was thinking- maybe steal a point here.. but bremen was just too lethal with their chances & punished hanover.

have to do something to break out of this slump. hopefully in the upcoming game the reds can catch a break & get going again.

We all hope for the best. But the next game is at Schalke and then, three days after that, another game at Schalke, this time in the cup competition. Not only is Schalke really good, but their coach is our former coach who know all the strengths and weaknesses of our players. That will be extra-tough. But again, in football, anything is possible. As long as we don't trail 2:0 after 7 minutes again...

** for those in usa/canada- hanover game on tomorrow morning on fox soccer ch. think it's 9am pacific time... **

It's actually 3 30 PM here, should 9 30 AM Eastern time.

It will be at HSV, which will be for a great atmosphere since it isn't far, a great and big stadium sold out and a friendship between the fans.
And HSV just plays great soccer at the moment.
We'll see.

sorry but should have said it in earlier post- the game is being shown on delay-(3 hour delay it seems...) - they are showing the fulham/everton game earlier in the morning- then hanover/hamburg after...
