I think this new structure is for the small amount of people discussing here more appropriate.

So, what do you guys think about the win? I saw it live on TV Ants (more on that before the Leverkusen game) and was pretty satisfied.
Off course you have to keep in mind that Wolfsburg was a really weak opponent, but 3 points are 3 points ;-)

To lose at home against the team bottom of the league must have been quite disappointing for Wolfie. When it is also against your local rivals it must be sickening

The team must be on a high right now and can't wait for their next game. Very different to 3 weeks ago when they were probably wondering how many they would lose by in their next game. I'm glad you enjoyed it on TV. I watched it on the Liveticker and with my limited German it sounded like 96 were much the better team and likely to score at any time. Perhaps the reality was not quite the same, but I was very glad to see the word "Pfeif" appear after 90+3 minutes (whistle, right?).

Defeat this weekend and it is back to the beginning again, but lets not think about that just yet, eh.

Let the good time roll!!!

This year could be very tough for H96 but with a little luck we will be ok.

A few suprises at top of Bundesliga as well, but Hertha no way!!

We must beat these teams though to gain points:-

Bielefeld, Aachen, Wolfsburg, Monchengladbach, Bochum

C'mon das roten!!

Hi and welcome to the forum.

Yeah, 3 points would have been better. This start was rather a nightmare than a dream, but now with a new coach I hope we can get a few points and move out of relegation zone.
Traditionally Hanover sucks at playing bad teams and is great when we play good teams... take for example the game against Bremen at the beginning of this season.

Hi, I am german but study in A'dam now. There is as far as I know, 'just' one Hannover 96 fan that is really Dutch (compared to 3 English and 3 Americans).

Well, I do follow Hannover 96 and want Hamburger SV to do well, as well as Odense BK in denmark. apart from that no other team is really special for me, so I just tend to cross my fingers for underdogs or teams playing chelsea, Bayern or Madrid.

Bring on dvb - we desperately need a good 3 points against Dortmund!

Going to be tough though but maybe we can nick it, 2-1 for 96 - fingers crossed!

Sheffield Wednesday in same position as Hannover - next to bottom!

Last week we winning 1-0 v. Derby and they have a man sent off. So we then proceed to lose 2-1 against 10 men!

Testing my sense of humour thats for sure.

Only good thing in sports this week for me were Europe thrashing USA at golf and Green Bay Packers win a game at american football. Still we got Champions League tonight so rooting for most English clubs (but NOT Manchester!) :D

Catch u l8r - bye

Hi Squig.

Soulmanash, if you can put up with a couple of Crystal Palace fans for a weekend, you will have to join us on one of our trips to Hannover to watch '96 play. We went to 4 games last season and intend doing the same this year, starting with the game in 2 weeks time against Eintracht Frankfurt. The flights are really quite cheap at the moment and we know a very good hotel in Hannover that is within walking distance of the AWD Arena and the city centre.

Drop me an email at paynesworld@colne64.freeserve.co.uk if you fancy joining us. We have met up with Squig on each of our previous trips, although that might not be possible now as he has become a Dutchman

Hey, I am still German.
Unfortunately you are right though, I won't be able to make it, but maybe someone else can ;-)
Cool that you found a flight. We are thinking about coming to London in february or so...

You can watch the game live via TVAnts, btw

Ok, only a 2 to 2, but I am satisfied. despite us playing like shite Dortmund leading twice didn't bring them any 3 points. There are weaker teams in the BL, we have to score there. If we play like this next weekend in the cup, we have a good chance on winning against BvB.
(I saw it via PPlive)

Thank you for the link to the photographs. Those guys really know how to enjoy themselves! 2-2 in Dortmund was not a bad result and Dortmund will see it as 2 points lost rather than one point gained, particularly after twice being in the lead.

The team seem good at fighting back after going behind, which shows good spirit and character, but it would be better still if they didn't fall behind in the first place!

What is PPLive and can we get it in the UK?

London is not at it's best in February, but I am sure we could arrange to take you to a footie match. Perhaps not at Chelsea as tickets are now £55 each minimum!!!!

You should know about the enjoying themselvs part after the Hamburg game ;-)

There are some East-Asian and Arabic Tv stations showing BL games live, they also broadcast in the internet and you show it with the right chinese programs. I would google it to find an English instruction, I can give you a schedule before the games start.
Also, with German expats being around I am sure that there is a bar somewhere in london showing BL games as well, we have a few here in Amsterdam.

Yeah, ticket prices in the UK are shocking. Why not Chrystal palace?
