Hi friends of Hannover 96, I follow the Danish national team. I would like to know,

a) does Hannover have a real interest in Leon Andreasen?

b) does Hannover need a defensive midfielder/central defender?

c) do you like the idea of Leon joining Hannover?

The newspapers say that 96 interested to get the player.
In my opinion, after the transfer of Per Mertesacker to SV Werder Bremen the players Vinicius and Darius Zuraw do there job good in the middle defensive midfield. And we have Frank Fahrenhorst too. But he didn`t convince so far.

I don`t know much about Andreasen, so that i can`t give an opinion about him.

What would Franz Beckenbauer say?

Actually Leon Andreasen is better as a midfielder than defender, so maybe he can compete for places with Balitsch and Yankov?

The coach of Hannover 96, Dieter Hecking praises the Dansk -
"He has knowlege about Championsleague-Football"

I think his Chances couldn`t be so bad for an transfer.

Maybe it's good to tell you that Christopher Dabrowski left our team in the summer. As you may know, he was a defensive midfield player. Until now we didn't have a substition for him.

During the first half of this season Chavdar Yankov played several times the part of defensive midfielder. He did this better then we expected, although he orginally is an offensive midfielder.

Appearently our new coach Dieter Hecking thinks it's necessary to get Leon Andreassen. What I read about his skills sounds good.

As the germans say: "her damit" (get him!).

A bit of an old news, from a friend in another forum:

Leon has said that he know of their interest in him, and he is also interested, but that he has had no talks with Hannover 96. He also say that Werder Bremen has told him that they do not want to sell, so if he is to play for Hannover 96 or any other team, it's most likey going to be on a loan deal.

Like most others, I know very little about Leao Andreasen but I would be interested to know if he has already asked the club he is now playings for about moving away in January or if his club want to sell as they need the money. Or, is it that his contract has finished?

In England at this time of year, many of the bigger clubs make it known to the newspapers that they would like to sign a certain player. They know that they are not allowed to speak to the player directly, so they use the newspapers so send out a message to the player that they want him. They do this just to unsettle the player concerned and to make him start thinking about joining their club. This way they can get the player to tell his current club that he is no longer happy to play for them and that they should take any offers they might get for him. In the end, the bigger club gets to buy him for much less money as his current club will want to sell him on quickly rather than have an unhappy player in their team.

Arsenal are very good at it, with the result that they have half the French national squad now playing for them! I am not saying it is wrong to do this. If other clubs do it, why should Hannover 96 not do the same!

Secondly, do H96 really need another defensive midfielder of central defender? Having had no goals scored against us in the last 3 games, I would think not. The midfield will also be stronger when Lala is back to full fitness. We are now better at stopping the opposition scoring than we are at scoring ourselves, so perhaps we should be looking to sign forwards and not defenders.

Unfortunately, I don't often get to see the Germany newspapers. Are there any other players we are reported as being interested in? Perhaps more importantly, are any other clubs showing interest in any of our top players? I am thinking particularly about Robert Enke!

Hamburg showed some interest in Enke, but it's not likely that he will go there at the moment.

I certainly hope so... But since it is Sinterklaas in Holland and Nikolaus in germany allready, we first could get the 6 points we talked about before christmas
