According to Kicker we were able to offer Enke a new contract, he will stay for 3 more years. His former contract ends this summer. Very important step, propably the most important one of this winter.

Just seen on the 96er website that Robert Enke has signed with Hannover until 2010. Although delighted with this news, I must admit to being a little surprised. I thought that with losing his small child a few months ago he and his wife may have been looking for a fresh start somewhere else. I am so glad I was wrong!

In the cup we got drawn an away game in Nuremberg. Not impossible, but last year they were really impressing at home.
We also just one a test game against Ahlen with 5 to 0, but that does not say much.

No yellow shirts for homematches, declared both Martin Kind and shirtsponsor TUI. Then the club prolonged the contract with TUI. Now TUI said in several newspapers, they consider yellow shirts for awaymatches. Many supporters dislike the idea as well, as you may understand.

The best way for fans to show they are not pleased with yellow shirts is not to buy them from the club shop. The club will soon understand the strength of feeling when their income from the shop goes down.

I still wear my 3 year old red Hannover 96 shirt to the airport, on the plane, to the ground, at the game and the whole of the rest of the weekend. It's going to need washing soon

The friendly against Leipzig has been cancelled due to the storm (was supposed to be played last thursday). We won against Skandinavian team Esbjerg 3 to 1, but friendlys don't say much.
