For us, Sevilla was the worst case scenario but all in all, we are happy and looking forward to the match. I think, we have a good chance!

No one leave the club after the great season last year. That is the reason why 96 is a closed crew.

Our defense is quit good. There is Pogatetz, witch wins many of his tackles and Haggui, witch supports him.

Our defensive midfield is formed by Pinto and Schmiedebach, two dogged players.

And not to forget, our striker. Ya Konan, Abdellaoue and Schlaudraff. All of them are very quick and technically gifted. Especially Schlaudraff!

And jeah, we also have a great goalkeeper, Zieler. He played for Manu for 5 years I think and learned something from Edwin van der Sar.

For us the forward Negredo and Kanoute is lethal, Perotti and Navas bands; Medel and Trochowki in the medio center, Coke and Navarro in the wings: Caceres and Spahic of defense central and Varas ou Palop into the goal (both are very good).

our team has won against Bayern München!
- The team is playing a 4 - 4 - 2, trainer Slomka works hard for the
fitness of our team, and he trained "attacks in 10 seconds" !
- We have speedy players!, for example Jan Schlaudraff is a tricky
player too - you could see it today (the first goal against Hoffenheim, he shot

And, last but not least, in our team is much agreement and solidarity,
espacially the last years. Reason is also the younger history
of our club, perhaps you have heard of the tragedy with Robert Enke,
our number one. Since this time the team stands together more and more.
I think everybody could feel it in the last saison!

I hope you become a first impression, 96 isn't a team of egocentric stars,
an advantage is the unity of our team, but there are good players too
like Ya Konan (forward), Abdelloue (forward), Schlaudraff (back forward),
Schmiedebach and Pinto (middle), Haggui and Pogatetz (defence),
on the left side Schulz, Rausch, Pander, on the right side
Cherundolo, Chahed, Stindl, other players like Stoppelkamp
(over 20 goals in the test games). In addition to that new players
like Hauger (middle) or Sobiech (forward). I think our team will be
a surprise for Sevilla, and our fans are in enthusiasm to play
in Europe! And in honest, our players too.

- In Sevilla herrscht ein Nachtflugverbot, d.h. zwischen 01:00 Uhr und 06:00 Uhr dürfen dort offiziell keine Flugzeuge abheben. Wir haben eine Ausnahmegenehmigung erhalten.

- Mindestteilnehmerzahl: 120

Do not believe it.

Sevilla has reformed very good team. We have sold players like Zokora, Capel, Alfaro, Renato, Dragoutinovic, Luis Fabiano, Sergio Sanchez .... many of them important to us. We are in a cyclical change. Players hungry titles, young. Betting on the quarry. This year we have risen to a 18-year, European champion with Spain under-21. Negredo who last year finished as top scorer Spanish. Perotti and Navas have been tempted by teams like Arsenal and Inter. We should not compare which Player plays for Hannover and Sevilla. It´s pretty senseless. The truth we´ll find on the field

I think the chances are 50:50. An advantage for us is that the Season in Germany has allready started and the first Cup Round is played. So Hannover is allready "rolling". The Team hasn´t changed much. The Starting Eleven is the same like last year. We´ve done some good Trades to boost the Bench and be able to react if one of the "Top Eleven" is not in a good shape or injured or whatever.

I think everybody here in Hannover is full of respect while thinking of Sevilla. But no one is anxious. We know we have some realistic chances to make the step into the next Round. If we Win the Homematch everything is possible. If there is a draw with Goals (1:1/2:2 etc.) or loss i think it will be pretty hard to reach the Groupround. I remember Sevilla against Dortmund last year. Sevilla is able to destroy the "Gameflow" while they make out of the last 5 Minutes 30 Minutes

I´m really looking forward and can´t await both Matches. May the better (and/or) more lucky Team Win. (I hope it will be 96 *g*)

Indeed, in this duel Hannover 96 is the underdog, evident. We have full respect for Sevilla's players. But first of all, consider the last saison with the fourth place in the Bundesliga with 60 points in a league of 18 teams.
Than: I have seen our team by the tests: there is a very good atmosphere, humour, self-sure. It's nearly the same succesful team like last year!


ok, sounds like very hard work for our team. In my opinion the matches are a great pleasure and highlight, and I think Sevilla must play powerful to beat Hannover 96. Sevilla is favourit, but we did wait a long time for such an event!
19 years before 96 won the Bundesliga pokal, and in the first round in Europe 96 meets with Werder Bremen.
FC Sevilla is now something complete different.

Of Cource Sevilla will be the favorite against 96, but we have a small chance, becauso of our well-practised team with great spirit and very fast and technically adepted strikers. Sevilla will be surprised, if they underrate Schlaudraff, Abdellaoue and Ya Konan.

Apart from that sevilla is more experienced and, what we know not just the games against Dortmund last season, they are very, very shrewd. I was mad at your team, because some of your players really acted unfair.

Finally I could not understand your enthusiam about Trochowski. Like Raktitc he can handle the ball well. But both have slow head und legs. That is why he never really received a permanent place in Hamburgs squad. Neither in the bad last seasen of them. I never believe that he will establish himself at Sevilla. Last year he was discussed to be a part of 96, too. And I'm happy, that he didn't joined us (no matter, that he would have been to expensive for us).

For me you are the most nasty draw we could get.
