I will put here some comments after matches when I have time... and if someone else wants to write here, you're welcome!

Okay let's start from Hannover 96 - Nurnberg 1-0

Finally a 1-0 victory!! A great news. If I remember well this is the first match in this season that we win and opponent does not score (okay... there was also the match against Anker Wismar, but...)

I have seen that the coach of Brugge was in AWD Arena. We tried to scare him with a very good 1st half of the match. Good ball possession, many attacking options, and one horrbile fail of Moa: I can't write here what exactly I exclaimed when he put the ball over the crossbar........... never mind, then he scored a more important goal (what a ball from Lars Stindl!)

2nd half, I didn't like it. We have failed some counterattacks and especially at the beginning we have conceded too much space to our opponents. I have a message for Stindl: when we are attacking around minute 85 and we have to maintain ball possession because we are leading 1-0, please don't fall down like a pear, without protecting the ball.................. The referee did not signal any foul and we have conceded a counterattack to our opponents that became a dangerous free kick. Apart from this, I am happy with the performance in general.

Now we need 13 points to reach 40, and then we'll see.

Dortmund, Gladbach, Munchen and Furth...

So if Furth doesn't reach the final, the 7th place in Bundesliga will be good for Europa League (and now we have 6 points to defend 7th place)

The situation of our season now is:

10 points from Champions League
16 points ahead of the 16th place
DFB Pokal is gone

so I think we have to try to concentrate our forces in Europa League until we are in: I know this is only a dream, but... last year Sporting Braga reached the final, so with a little luck we can go far

i couldn't seen the match very well because of poor streaming... so I can't make a correct analysis
but I think we were too defensive at the end of the match and we lost 2 points for that penalty

We SHOULD beat teams like Augsberg but we DID NOT this is why we 7th in Bundesliga

IF we beat the lower teams we could be in contention for Champions League (maybe)
Just need that little extra push to close in to Shalke BvB Bayern etc etc

Yeah not our best game, but still unbeaten at home for 13 games, the team got stronger, and EL qualification is still clearly in sight. I worry about Stuttgart though, the first half was abmissal, and the penalty totally unnecessary...

But the situations two minutes before could have been a hand by Schulz (and then a penalty). Doesn't matter that much, what matters is that the whole situation was totally unneccessary, 2 min before the end of a game you should not give the ref a chance to give the other team a penalty.

I am not debating that. Still, the problem is that the situation should not have been. Referees make mistakes. A good team leading 2:1 just gives the ref no chance to award the other team a penalty in the 88th minute. That is why I think it was negative, and that is what I am criticizing.

(I am in no way angry at the team over all, they are playing a splendid season, and I am very happy to be able to travel to so many European stadia with them).
