Because the club is a fusion of some other clubs, and one brought their crest colors, while the other brought the shirt colors...
A 1:2 is certainly something we can still win with. What a game. The last goal was unnecessary, though (even though Atletico were by far the better team).
That isn't correct. The first match our players played in a complete white dress, because all players had such a dress in their cabinet. At the fusion between the HFC and BV Hannovera to Hannover 96 the colors of HFC (black-white-green) become the colors of 96 and they decided to play in white shirts and black trousers. BV Hannovera had played in blue shirts and so the color blue are free for Arminia Hannover (with green and white as club colors). Since 1930 reports the local press of 96 as the reds. Why they played in red shirts? It is unknown. Perhaps a tribute to the red and white flag of the city of Hannover.

I have seen only 2nd half, good match, another unnecessary suffering
now we are 5th... I think that to remain in Europa League Places we need 11-12 points in the last 6 matches. Three home victories, two away draws. If we arrive 5, we will be in EL group stage.

Believe me, it was better that way. The first half was not good. We scored with the first Chance by Ya Konan. With the next chance Djouf scored. At least Zieler saved the victory.

I didn't like the 1st half... we had nothing to lose, we had to play with more unscrupulousness... we have played better after 0-1 and I think 1-1 was the right result, but they have many great players and take advantage of our errors.
A great adventure is finished. It was a good dream.
See you soon, I hope, Europa!

I expected something like this, too. The Season was a good one so far. But it seems the team is powerless more and more. So i hope they will perform well most of the last games and then i pray for the Season end. And i hope for some improvements on some positions. Especially a Midfielder which has some great Ideas while the ball is next to his feet. Like THE FINAL pass or the power to force danger to the opponents goal. Schmiedebach and Pinto are easy to handle for the Opponents because they are too harmless if it comes to the point "scoring" by themselve.
And i would like to see some new defensive players. Especially for the left side. At the right side Cherundolo is performing well this season (especially the second half of the season) but there is a need because of his age.
But i´m sure the staff is allready thinking about this all and they will continue the good job they have done so far. Very important is a win next wednesday against WOB.

Don't call the match derby. For use the match is no derby. A derby needs rivalry, but there is no rivalry to the wheel covers (thus we call Wolfsburg because their club-logo looks like a wheel cover of a VW-Beetle) like the rivalry to Brunswick.
