keller headed for the bundesliga... keller not a youngster- but seems to still have some gas left in the tank...

** just saw this article on espn.com
http://soccernet.espn.go.com/headlinenews?id=322094&cc=5901kasey seems excited to be going to the bundesliga,
There is no point in Kasey going to a bacl up position if he can start in MLS. So it would be a surprise for a guy with his enormous ego to go to a back-up job - at least unless its a 50/50 situation to win it!
If you say so... Keller definitely signed a contract at Borrusia Mönchengladbach. Since both goalies they transfered in the Pre-season phase weren`t able to stabilize the defence, they now transfered Keller as a cheap replacement. Personaly I doubt that Kasey can proof himself better, but we `ll see.
Keller has consistently been one of the best goalkeepers in the Premier League - at Spurs they picked up a young gun (Robinson) at a good price from a failing club (Leeds). Kellers performance for the US National Team has been outstanding. The game that I recall most vividly was the USA defeat of Brazil when he played so well Romario came and congratulated him!
He can still perform at the top level for a few more years - goalkeepers have a much longer shelf-life than field players!
